Cookie Policy

Last updated: 10 June 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how One Four Design Signs and Graphics Ltd. ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on themuralguys.co.uk. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more broadly.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device to remember information about you — typically things like login state, preferences, or anonymous statistics about how you use the site. Similar technologies (such as local storage) can be used for the same purposes.

Our approach: minimal, consent-first

We do not use advertising, retargeting, behavioural profiling or any cookie-based personalisation. The only non-essential cookies we set are Google Analytics cookies, and only if you explicitly accept them via the notice that appears on your first visit. You can change your mind any time using the button at the bottom of this page.

Google Analytics (cookies — consent required)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are popular, how visitors arrive, and where the site can be improved. Measurement ID: G-TV17FMVJFC.

If you accept, Google sets the following cookies on your device:

  • _ga — distinguishes one visitor from another (stored for two years). Reset on consent change.
  • _ga_TV17FMVJFC — keeps your session state across page views (stored for two years).

These cookies do not contain your name, email, IP address or any directly identifying information. Google receives an anonymised event stream and stores aggregated reports for us. Data is processed by Google Ireland Ltd; some infrastructure may be hosted in the United States under the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Full details: Google's privacy policy and Google Analytics' privacy guide.

Plausible & site monitor (cookie-free)

Where enabled, we use Plausible Analytics to understand which pages are popular and how visitors arrive at the site. Plausible is privacy-focused and does not use cookies; it also does not collect or store any personal data. All measurements are aggregated and anonymous, and data is processed within the EU.

Because Plausible is cookieless and processes only aggregated, non-personal data, no consent banner is required under UK PECR or UK GDPR. Plausible is approved by the ICO's own privacy review.

Third-party services you may interact with

Some parts of the site link out to or embed services run by other companies. We do not control how those services use cookies once you engage with them. The most common are:

  • Social media links — clicking the links to our Instagram or LinkedIn profiles will take you to those platforms, where their own cookie policies apply.
  • WhatsApp — if you opt in to a WhatsApp reply via our contact form, the conversation happens on Meta's WhatsApp service. Their privacy policy and cookie use apply to that channel.
  • Adobe Typekit — the display typeface (Bebas Neue Pro) is served by Adobe Fonts. Adobe may set cookies for font-delivery and abuse-prevention purposes. See Adobe Fonts' privacy policy.
  • Embedded video — articles in our News section may embed video files. These are hosted on our own server and do not set cookies. We do not embed YouTube, Vimeo or similar third-party players.
  • Site monitor (Dotwall) — our design agency runs a lightweight uptime and usage monitor at monitor.dotwall.co.uk. It collects aggregated page-load data so they can spot outages and slow pages. No advertising or personal profiling is performed.

Local storage & browser features

We rely on standard browser features (such as your browser's prefers-reduced-motion setting and prefers-color-scheme) to tailor the experience. These are read from your own browser settings — we do not write to them and they are not cookies.

Manage your preferences

You can withdraw or grant consent at any time. The button below clears your stored decision and shows the cookie notice again on the next page load. If you reject, the analytics script is never loaded and no analytics cookies are set on your device.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can also manage or block cookies via your browser settings — see Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Edge.

Changes to this policy

If we ever add another service that uses cookies, we will update this page and ask for your consent before any new non-essential cookies are set.
