The Mural Guys is a trading name of One Four Design Signs and Graphics Ltd. These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of all services, including design consultancy, printing, supply, and installation of wall graphics, murals, and office branding solutions. By requesting a quote or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Scope of Work and Quotes

1.1 Quotes

All quotes are based on the specifications, measurements, and site information provided by the client (you) at the time of enquiry. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

1.2 Variations

Any change to the scope, measurements, materials, or artwork requested after the quote has been accepted may result in a price adjustment and revised delivery timeline.

1.3 Site Surveys

Where a site survey is necessary, we reserve the right to revise the final quote and scope based on the actual site conditions found.

2. Artwork and Intellectual Property

2.1 Client-Supplied Artwork

• You warrant that you own or have the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use any artwork, logos, or designs supplied to us for printing.

• You indemnify The Mural Guys against any and all claims, costs, or expenses arising from the infringement of copyright, trademark, or any other intellectual property rights arising from the use of client-supplied artwork.

2.2 Mural Guys-Supplied Artwork

• Where The Mural Guys provides design services, all original designs, concepts, and working files created by us remain the intellectual property of The Mural Guys (or its licensors) until full payment for the project is received.

• Upon full payment, we grant you a non-exclusive license to use the final printed graphic in its installed location. We retain the right to use images of the finished installation for marketing and promotional purposes.

2.3 Proofing

It is your responsibility to carefully review and approve all digital proofs (including spelling, grammar, colours, dimensions, and placement) before production begins. Once approval is confirmed, The Mural Guys accepts no liability for errors in the final printed product.

3. Payment Terms and Cancellation

3.1 Deposit

A non-refundable deposit (typically 50% of the total project value) is required upon acceptance of the quote and before any design work or production commences.

3.2 Final Payment

The remaining balance is due immediately upon practical completion of the installation, unless otherwise agreed in writing. For supply-only orders, the balance is due prior to dispatch.

3.3 Late Payment

We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at a rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, calculated daily.

3.4 Cancellation

If a project is cancelled by the client after the deposit is paid, the deposit will be retained to cover administrative and design costs incurred. If production has already started, you will be liable for the full cost of all materials and labour expended up to the point of cancellation.

4. Installation Services

4.1 Access and Site Readiness

• You are responsible for ensuring the site is accessible, safe, and ready for installation on the agreed date. This includes clearing furniture, equipment, and removing existing wall coverings where necessary, unless removal has been explicitly included in the quote.

• Walls must be clean, smooth, and dry. We are not responsible for delays or poor adhesion caused by inadequately prepared surfaces.

4.2 Installation Times

Installation times are estimates. We are not liable for reasonable delays caused by site conditions, material supply chain issues, or unforeseen circumstances.

4.3 Practical Completion

Installation is deemed practically complete when the physical installation of the graphics is finished, even if minor remedial works are required. The final invoice will be issued at this point.

5. Warranties and Liability

5.1 Product Warranty

The Mural Guys warrants that all materials supplied are commercial-grade and meet necessary fire ratings (where specified) and are free from defects in manufacturing for a period of 12 months from the date of installation.

5.2 Installation Warranty

We warrant that the installation will be completed in a professional and workmanlike manner. If graphics fail due to faulty installation within 3 months of completion, we will rectify the issue at no extra cost.

5.3 Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by misuse, accidents, vandalism, or improper cleaning.

• Fading or degradation caused by excessive exposure to UV light, chemicals, or extreme temperatures.

• Failures arising from issues with the underlying wall or structure (e.g., damp, movement).

5.4 Limitation of Liability

Our total liability to you for any and all claims arising out of the performance or non-performance of our services shall be limited to the total price paid by you for the specific project in question. We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profits or business interruption.

6. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes relating to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
